Warning Description: Wind Advisory
Warning Date: 3:16 PM EDT on April 21, 2012
WarningSum:...Wind Advisory In Effect From 2 Pm To 8 Pm Edt Sunday...
Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Wind
Advisory...which is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM EDT Sunday.
* Locations...north and central Georgia...generally west of a line
from Lexington...to Milledgeville...to Mt. Vernon.
* Winds...northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* Timing...Sunday afternoon and early evening.
* Impacts...loose or unsecured light weight objects may be blown
around by the strong winds.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
20 mph...or gusts to 35 mph or stronger are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
